Happy Birthday Queensland! Today is Queensland Day, celebrating the Queen's signing of Letters Patent in 1859 which gave birth to Queensland as a separate colony from New South Wales. https://t.co/NhKNCamBaq
🙌 Today is Queensland Day which marks our state’s official separation, as an independent colony, from NSW on 6 June 1859. Let's celebrate our state’s culture, heritage, people, places and industry, and to reflect on what it means to be a Queenslander. #myQLDstory #qldday https://t.co/qh5RmY8cBG

Much like the patchwork of our farms, our diverse range of residents are all very important pieces in the Queensland puzzle – the strength and resilience of our community a true testament of the Queensland spirit.
